Abstract

Наукове осмислення роботи графічного дизайнера як дослідницького процесу є визначальним для розуміння сутності та значення дизайну. Матеріал публікації спрямовано на сприяння підвищенню престижу дизайну, оскільки науково обґрунтоване розуміння важливості складної та різноманітної дизайнерської практики допомагає інтегрувати його в різні сфери суспільного життя. Наукова новизна статті полягає у встановленні взаємозв’язку між графічним дизайном та методами наукового дослідження, що допомагає розширити розуміння процесів дизайну та підвищити якість професійних рішень у цій галузі. У публікації здійснено розширений опис професійних видів діяльності графічних дизайнерів. Розглядаються дві моделі роботи. Розуміння та застосування цих моделей допомагає визначити роль дослідження в дизайні та підкреслити важливість методів роботи графічних дизайнерів для досягнення успішних результатів. Далі у статті визначено типи досліджень, які дизайнери використовують на практиці. Встановлено зв’язок між графічним дизайном і методами наукових досліджень, окреслено проблеми та перспективи їхньої взаємодії та визначено значення дослідницької діяльності в роботі графічного дизайнера. У висновках наголошується на важливості інтеграції різних дослідницьких методологій у графічний дизайн для покращення якості результатів та сприяння розвитку галузі. Прикладні дослідження можуть бути обмежені у наданні вичерпних аргументів на користь ефективності дизайну, тому важливо поєднувати їх з академічними дослідженнями. The publication material is aimed at promoting the prestige of design, as a scientifically based understanding of the importance of complex and diverse design practice helps to integrate it into various spheres of public life. The scientific novelty of the article lies in establishing the relationship between graphic design and scientific research methods, which helps to expand the understanding of design processes and improve professional solutions quality in this area. The publication provides an extended description of the graphic designers’ professional activities. Two models of work are considered. Understanding and applying these models helps to define the research role in design and emphasise the importance of graphic designers’ working methods to achieve successful results. Further, the article identifies the research types that designers use in practice. The author establishes the relationship between graphic design and scientific research methods, outlines the problems and prospects of their interaction, and defines the importance of research activity in the graphic designer’s work. The conclusions emphasise the importance of integrating different research methodologies in graphic design to improve the quality of results and promote the industry development.
