Інтернет-меми як інструмент інформаційної війни

Abstract

Актуальність теми дослідження полягає в необхідності аналізу сучасних українських інтернет-мемів, які виникли під час російсько-української війни. Важливість мемів зумовлена не лише тим, що вони віддзеркалюють особливості менталітету, світоглядні цінності й орієнтири, громадську думку тощо, а й тому, що у кризових умовах вони є потужним знаряддям інформаційної війни. Мета роботи полягає у дослідженні українських інтернет-мемів часів війни. Наукове осмислення меметики є багатоаспектним. Учені досліджують сутність феномену, структуру мемів, їх функціонування, жанрово-тематичну специфіку тощо. Аналіз класифікацій інтернет-мемів показав, що існують два основних підходи: меми поділяються за формою (форматом) та за комунікативною метою (стратегією або функцією). Осмислення різних класифікацій в аспекті дослідження дозволило поділити інтернет-меми на три типи, що різняться за функцією і змістом, а саме: меми, спрямовані на дискредитацію та висміювання ворога; меми трансляції цінностей і підтримки морального духу; меми, що спрямовані на героїзацію певної особистості. Такий поділ дозволяє виявити функціональні особливості мемів часів війни. Обґрунтовано, що всі проаналізовані меми належать до продуктивного стилю і найчастіше репрезентують копінг-стратегії обмірковування проблеми, пошуку шляхів її вирішення, позитивної налаштованості та оптимістичної установки. Навіть ті меми, що спрямовані на дискредитацію ворога і в силу цього можуть мати деструктивні інтенції, як правило, демонструють належність до продуктивного стилю. З’ясовано, що у проаналізованих мемах використано різноманітні засоби виразності, наприклад, антитеза і каламбур. Залучено історичні алюзії, ремінісценції з популярних кінострічок, біблійні образи, образи масової культури тощо.

The relevance of the research topic lies in the need to analyse contemporary Ukrainian Internet memes that emerged during the Russian-Ukrainian war. Memes are important not only because they reflect the peculiarities of mentality, worldview values and guidelines, public opinion, etc., but also because they are a powerful tool of information warfare in a crisis. The purpose of the paper is to study Ukrainian Internet memes of wartime. To solve the tasks set and achieve the purpose, a complex of research methods was used: theoretical – to clarify the state of the problem development, define the conceptual and categorical apparatus; generalisation and systematisation of scientific provisions; special – content analysis – to study media content. The researchers study the phenomenon essence, memes structure, their functioning, genre and thematic specificity, etc. The analysis of Internet memes classifications has shown two main approaches: memes are divided by form (format) and communicative purpose (strategy or function). Comprehension of various classifications in the context of the study allowed us to divide Internet memes into three types that differ in function and content, namely: memes aimed at discrediting and ridiculing the enemy; memes of broadcasting values and supporting morale; memes aimed at glorifying a certain person. This division allows us to identify the functional features of wartime memes. It is proved that all the analysed memes belong to the productive style and most often represent the coping strategies of thinking about the problem, finding ways to solve it, positive attitude and optimistic attitude. Even those memes that are aimed at discrediting the enemy and, therefore, may have destructive intentions tend to be part of the productive style. It is found that the analysed memes use various means of expression, such as antithesis and pun. Historical allusions, reminiscences from popular films, biblical images, images of mass culture, etc., are involved.
