Особливості діяльності ЗМІ Хмельницького краю в час війни росії проти України

Abstract

Статтю присвячено аналізу специфіки діяльності засобів масової інформації Хмельниччини в час повномасштабної війни росії проти України. Тема набирає популярності в сучасному українському журналістикознавстві, проте воєнна тематика в місцевих виданнях саме Хмельниччини досліджується вперше. Оглянуто засоби масової інформації Хмельницького краю, виділено й узагальнено спільне та найважливіше в аналізованих матеріалах, зокрема стабільність тематичних пріоритетів. Більшість друкованих ЗМІ присвячують значну увагу війні та її подіям. Статті відзначають героїчні вчинки бійців, допомогу волонтерів, а також трагічні події на фронті. Газети ретельно аналізують міжнародні новини та реакцію світових лідерів на ситуацію. З’ясовано, що місцеві ЗМІ не обмежуються винятково військовою тематикою. Вони активно висвітлюють і соціальні проблеми, стан інфраструктури, економічні та культурні аспекти життя регіону. Зростає важливість кримінальних новин та подій надзвичайних ситуацій. Обґрунтовано здатність крайових ЗМІ Хмельниччини не лише передавати важливу інформацію, а й формувати свідомість та підтримку громади в умовах війни та економічної нестабільності. Наукова стаття аналізує тематичні та жанрові особливості крайових видань Хмельницької області в умовах великої війни. Виявлено, що тематичні пріоритети стабілізувалися, але виключили деякі важливі теми, такі як корупція, освіта, наука, реформи. Зазначено, що жанровий спектр залишився практично незмінним, з великою кількістю інформаційних матеріалів та з обмеженим контентом матеріалів аналітичних. Кількість публікацій із ознаками замовності не зазнала вагомих змін. Розглянуто еволюцію проблем, що виникали в роботі крайових ЗМІ, включаючи поширення некоректної реклами та проросійських наративів. Доведено, що після подій 2022 року ЗМІ стали визначальними джерелами інформації для місцевих спільнот, зосереджуючи зусилля на об’єктивному відображенні подій у регіоні та світі; місцеві медіа активно підтримують ЗСУ, територіальну оборону, волонтерів та переселенців. Зазначено зміни в тематичній структурі та жанровому розподілі матеріалів протягом війни, а також наголошено на важливості дотримання журналістських стандартів та балансу думок.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the media specifics in the Khmelnytskyi region during the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine. The topic is gaining popularity in contemporary Ukrainian journalism studies, but this is the first time that the war theme has been studied in local publications in the Khmelnytskyi region. The article reviews the mass media of the Khmelnytskyi region, identifies and summarises the common and most important features of the analysed materials, in particular, the stability of thematic priorities. Most print media devote considerable attention to the war and its events. Articles highlight the heroic deeds of soldiers, the help of volunteers, and tragic events at the front. Newspapers thoroughly analyse international news and the reaction of world leaders to the situation. It was found that local media are not limited to military topics. They actively cover social issues, the state of infrastructure, economic and cultural aspects of the region’s life. The importance of criminal news and emergencies is growing. The ability of Khmelnytskyi regional media extends beyond conveying essential information; they shape public consciousness and support the community amidst the challenges of war and economic instability. The article substantiates the ability of the regional media of the Khmelnytskyi region not only to transmit important information but also to form the consciousness and support of the community in the conditions of war and economic instability. The article analyses the thematic and genre features of the regional media of the Khmelnytskyi region in the context of the Great War. It was found that the thematic priorities have stabilized but excluded some important topics, such as corruption, education, science, and reforms. It is noted that the genre spectrum remained virtually unchanged, with a large number of informational materials and limited content of analytical materials. The number of publications with signs of being paid for has not changed significantly. The evolution of the problems that arose in the work of the regional media, including the spread of incorrect advertising and pro-Russian narratives, is considered. It is proved that after the events of 2022, the media have become the main sources of information for local communities, focusing on the objective coverage of events in the region and the world; local media actively support the Armed Forces, territorial defence, volunteers, and IDPs. Changes in the thematic structure and genre distribution of materials during the war were noted, and the importance of adherence to journalistic standards and balance of opinion was emphasised.
