Промова Олеся Гончара «Час для єдності» крізь призму сучасного сприйняття

Abstract

Актуальність розвідки зумовлено малодослідженістю промов видатних українських політичних і культурних діячів кін. ХХ – поч. ХХІ ст. як феномена національної публіцистики та потребою віднайти в публіцистичних творах Олеся Гончара, видатного письменника, громадського й політичного діяча, духовні уроки, які б наснажували сучасників, зміцнювали б у них почуття волелюбства й мужності в протистоянні російському агресору. Об’єкт дослідження – промова Олеся Гончара «Час для єдності» на І Конгресі Міжнародної асоціації україністів 27 серпня 1990 року та його рукописні, машинописні й друковані варіанти. Мета розвідки: здійснити комплексний аналіз промови Олеся Гончара «Час для єдності» у співмірності з злободенними проблемами суспільного життя України кін. ХХ – поч. ХХІ ст. Вивчення промови Олеся Гончара в контексті її актуальності в нинішній час із залученням автографів та щоденникових записів митця проводиться нами вперше. Журналістський доробок цієї особистості нараховує 1020 текстів. Численну групу творів (193, 18,8 %) репрезентують промови; вони посіли друге місце після статей. Це пов’язано із суспільною активністю їх автора, котрий не міг стояти осторонь животрепетних проблем своєї доби й належав до когорти тих, хто наближав день незалежності України. Порівняння рукописних, машинописних та друкованих варіантів промови засвідчує те, що письменник прагнув до лаконічного й точного вислову, продиктованого жанровим різновидом промови – словами на відкритті конгресу, гармонізації елементів композиції, враховував соціальний статус аудиторії слухачів. Ідея єдності українців пронизує весь текст промови Олеся Гончара. Лексема «єдність» виконує змістотворчу та архітектонічну функцію: вона формує сюжет, стає стрижнем композиційної структури публіцистичного твору, дає можливість автору легко переміщатись у часі й просторі, підніматись до філософського рівня осмислення національних проблем. Взаємозв’язок двох провідних тем промови «Час для єдності» – відродження України та єдності українства у світі – реалізується публіцистом через розгляд у новому часі взаємин діаспори з материковою Україною. Написана на злобу дня публіцистика Олеся Гончара не втратили свого значення для нових поколінь українців.The relevance of the study is due to the lack of research on the speeches of prominent Ukrainian political and cultural figures of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries as a phenomenon of national publicism and the need to find spiritual lessons in the publicistic works of Oles Honchar, a prominent writer, public and political figure, which would inspire contemporaries, strengthen their sense of freedom and courage in confronting the Russian aggressor. The object of the study is Oles Honchar’s speech “Time for Unity” at the First Congress of the International Association of Ukrainian Studies on 27 August 1990 and his handwritten, typewritten, and printed versions. The purpose of the study is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of Oles Honchar’s speech “Time for Unity” in relation to the urgent problems of public life in Ukraine in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. This is the first time that we have studied Oles Honchar’s speech in the context of its relevance today, using the artist’s autographs and diary records. The journalistic legacy of this personality includes 1020 texts. A large group of works (193, 18.8 %) is represented by speeches; they are second only to articles. This is due to the social activism of their author, who could not stand aside from the pressing problems of the day and belonged to the cohort of those who were approaching the day of Ukraine’s independence. A comparison of the speech’s handwritten, typewritten, and printed versions shows that the writer sought a concise and accurate expression dictated by the genre diversity of the speech – the words at the opening of the congress, harmonisation of the composition elements and the author also considered the social status of the audience. The idea of Ukrainian unity permeates the entire text of Oles Honchar’s speech. The lexeme “unity” performs a semantic and architectonic function: it forms the plot, becomes the core of the compositional structure of a publicistic work, enables the author to move easily in time and space, and rise to the philosophical level of understanding national problems. The interconnection of the two main themes of the speech “Time for Unity” – the revival of Ukraine and the unity of Ukrainians in the world is realised by the publicist through the consideration of the relations between the diaspora and mainland Ukraine in the new time. Oles Honchar’s publicism, written topically, has not lost its significance for new generations of Ukrainians.
